According to a study conducted by the American Osteopathic Association, one in six parents know their child has been bullied via a social networking site. A Cox Communications survey also found that 80% of youth think it’s easier to hide online bullying from their parents than it is to hide in-person bullying. To help parents sort through the complex issues surrounding cyberbullying, the Hudson PTA is presenting an anti-bullying program at the Hudson Middle School on Feb. 2nd at 7 p.m. A representative from the office of Summit County Prosecutor Sherry Bevin Walsh will speak about cyberbullying, texting, and social media, like Facebook. A question and answer session will follow. For more information, please contact Darlene Szelagy at dszilagy@msn.com
